2006 The scholarship provided me with the opportunity to go to Wash. U. If I hadn't had the opportunity to be an Ervin Scholar then the position that I'm in now may not have come to fruition. It has really been a springboard for me and given me contacts and resources that I would not have had otherwise.

Ervin Scholars Program at Washington University recognizes the high academic achievement, evidence of outstanding leadership, and strong commitment to community building and diversity through service of talented students throughout the nation. It is a family of life-long learners and contributors who work to maintain the legacy of Dr. John Ervin.
