Hailing from Silver Spring, Maryland, Senior Andie Berry is preparing to take the Wash U theatre scene by storm. The current piece was sparked by poem she performed at a slam on campus about two years ago. After fleshing it out for a final class project, she submitted the piece for the A.E. Hotchner Playwriting festival and was accepted.
Andie's "Son of Soil", a brilliant sociopolitical commentary on race and police brutality in America's future, will grace the stage in March of 2017. Click here for her full interview with Student Life!
