Sophomore Chalaun Lomax of West Chester, Ohio, penned an insightful piece in Student Life detailing plans for a new policy institute and steps toward increased graduate study offerings at WashU's very own Brown School of Social Work. The Clark-Fox Policy Institute, set to roll out this upcoming spring, will focus on raising "public awareness on social on social policy research" and creating "programming to engage the Washington University community." While the options for students to specialize in policy are currently limited, Brown School leadership anticipates utilizing the inception of the new institute to further support student interest.
