John B. Ervin Scholars Program

Laura Stephenson did her undergraduate work at Stanford University and graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania. A native Californian, Laura moved to St. Louis in July 2000. She worked at Fleishman Hillard in market research and taught at Florissant Valley Community College. Before coming to Washington University, Laura completed the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs. Her academic interests focus on media literacy and children's media. She enjoys working with students to help them reach their potential and is now in her sixth year with the University.
