Kristopher Campa is from Versailles, Missouri where he graduated from Morgan County R2 High School. He was the first in his family to go to college and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in English with a Writing Minor. He was an Ervin Scholar in the Class of 2013. During his undergraduate career, Kris was heavily involved with Black Anthology – Washington University’s oldest cultural show highlighting African-American Culture, and with Edison Theatre. Kris earned his MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University in January of 2016 and teaches creative writing at the university. His writing focuses on the genres of Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror. Kris serves as the Ervin Program Coordinator and is very dedicated to his Ervin Family, understanding that the program is what it is because of the students and the relationships that they build during their time at Washington University in St. Louis.
